The Shard and its amazing views!!!

Hey guys, kinda a short but fairly picture heavy post. When me and the boyfriend went to London we went up the shard. I purchased tickets to go up for his birthday present. He doesn't like heights very much but still enjoyed it the view was stunning.

The shard stands at approximately 1,004ft high and is the second tallest structure in the United Kingdom.

We were booked to go at about 8pm and we did this and thought it would be good to watch the sun go down. We spent around an hour and a half up there. The view was fantastic!

You go up in a lift, which seemed to take seconds although did leave your stomach feeling a bit iffy after! haha. There is not much else to say really apart from the amazing views of London it was something I won't forget!

I shall leave you with our shard selfie!

Hyper Japan Day 2 and 3 - Highlights

Hey guys, sorry about the slowness of getting these Hyper Japan posts up, but as I said in last post was wondering how to do them. Decided to merge day 2 and 3 in together as I am a little unsure about the order in which we did things, so going to share my highlights!

First start with food, cause who doesn't love food right ? While walking round the stalls I noticed these two little cake things. I am a massive hello kitty fan, and thought the Totoro one would be ideal for my boyfriend. So while he was looking at something else I snapped these up. They were £3 each but super yummy, mine had chocolate in while his had custard in... I think that's the right way round!
We also had some VERY yummy ice cream mine was green tea and was amazing. I really wanted noodles but we were so full we didn't have them in the end.
Last year when we went we kept seeing people with this little ice bundle but there was always such a big que for it. We were passing the stall and there was pretty much no que so of course we got some. I got mango flavour and it was very yummy. I honestly thought would taste very artificial but was pleasantly surprised!
Now I have made you all hungry here is some more of my hyper japan highlights. Apart from all the amazing stalls that you could go broke spending money at. There were different things going on at the stages. We saw a little bit of a Lolita fashion so which was cute. I CANNOT wait to get my very first Lolita outfit. We also saw a bit of the cosparade, but annoying people kept standing right in front of me, one even was rude enough to pretty much stand on me and then stay there... I got a little frustrated!
While wondering around there were so many amazing cosplayers (which made me and the boyfriend really wish we cosplayed this year!) But me being super shy I didn't get many pictures. I did manage to get this picture of Pixie Late and Alexa Poletti in Frozen cosplay.

The things on the main stage were awesome. Really glad we had the extra time this year (last year we only went on the Sunday) to sit down and watch the shows/talks

Obviously I have talked about one already which was the Vocaloid talk (click here to see previous post). Now on the Sunday there was a Vocaloid Opera.

This was pretty much my favourite thing, it was really amazing! It was a mix of traditional arts and Vocaloid software. A 30 min film was played which involved banraku puppets and vocaloid singing. It was pretty breath taking and also they showed a bit about how the puppets get there movements and it takes like three people to manage one puppet. If you want to find out more http://www.opera-aoi.com/ is the place to go!
Firstly we went to the robo talk early to get good seats to watch the Opera as both me and my boyfriend REALLY wanted to see it. The robo talk was so much more interesting than I thought it would be. He showed us the little dude above who did a REALLY cute dance, and a cool smaller robot which climbed up rope and things like that. It was about different robots and the things they can do and what he hopes to achieve in the future. Some of the things they could do were really awesome and some just really cute. I want a robot! He also said that he thinks in the future rather than having smart phones we will have little robots.... yes yes yes so much win!! Hope they come in pink!

Last but certainly not least. SIRO-A were back again. SIRO-A are compared to blue man group. They are an entertainment show where they use miming and visual effects to create a really awesome fun to watch show. One thing I love most about these guys is they promote themselves so well, they are not afraid to get in with there fans and we got given so many leaflets for them! We saw them last year and loved them and again this year they were just as good. My boyfriend even got involved with the performances, at first he was super shy and was like no... then they came back to him and he did it.

Hyper Japan was really enjoyable and I loved every minute of it. the weekend was a major highlight of this year and I recommend it to anyone! If you wanna see a little more of it, see what the stalls are like etc. My boyfriend has a youtube channel and recorded bits so will leave the links below. I will be doing a post on what I bought as well!

To top the weekend off, I purchased tickets to go up the shard for Rohan as a birthday present. We watched the sun go down and was really stunning. I will do another post on it so look out for it.

Hyper Japan - Diary Day 1

Okay took me a while to work out how to go about my Hyper Japan posts and decided to do a diary type thing! So I hope you enjoy and learn a little more about this amazing event.

Firstly want to say that had a really amazing time at Hyper Japan and it was one of the best weekends I have had, I say best because there has been a few!

Friday was mainly travelling up up as was a 3 - 4 hour journey by coach for me and the boyfriend. We were planning on checking in out hotel then going to Hyper Japan, but there was a talk we really wanted to see so went straight there with suitcases and everything. After getting our lovely neon pink weekend bands we went in. First thing I did was pick up Tomadachi Life for my 3ds.As there was a special offer on, it was half price so I went and got that. I will review it once played it a bit more.
Then we had a wonder round the stalls, when you first go it is a little over whelming as you just BUY ALL THE STUFF, its hard not to spend a fortune straight away. I had a few things I knew I wanted to purchase which I will show you in another post!
Now the reason for going straight there was the fact there was a Vocaloid talk going on, me and the boyfriend in the last year or so are getting more and more into Vocaloid from being slightly addicted to project diva on the ps3...
(me and my boyfriend playing project diva)
So we REALLY wanted to see this talk and learn more about the world of Vocaloid. Vocaloid is a singing voice software which allows people like you and me to create music without a singer. The software is fragments of voices of actual singers which create a singer libary. This allows voice like Hatsune Miku and Yuzuki Yukari to be created. From what they showed about the software it looks really simple to use, but I also doubt this is the case, I think you would have to have a at least basic knowledge of music to know what notes would sound right etc. The software was there available  to buy and to be honest I was rather tempted! But £60 is a fair price for something I don't even know I would be able to use. You can see the talk itself by clicking and watching the video below!

The voice actor Chihiro Ishiguro was there and did a super cute duet with her Vocaloid character Yuzuki Yukari, they even had matching outfits! She is a voice actress and also (I was very pleased to find out) models Lolita fashion ( I am pretty sure they said Gothic Lolita). She had a booth as well there where she was selling autographs and promoting the Vocaloid Opera which was showing on the Sunday. I really kicked myself about not getting an autograph or my picture with her. But my boyfriend did get a picture with her. Which I took, she was ever so cute and seem to really appreciate him buying her autograph she even touched his hand. He likes to boast his elbow touched her boob while he was having the picture taken!

She was really tiny!! We didn't really do much else after the talk, apart from have a bit more of a look around the stalls as we had our bags and stuff and wanted to check in out hotel and have a shower. We did in the evening after checking in went out for a meal at the restaurant we pretty much ALWAYS go to on our little meals out Prezzo. If you ever go have the honeycomb smash cheesecake its actually amazing. Me and Rohan had our first date at a Prezzo and he recommended it to me, I have never had a different pudding in there since. So yeah way to my heart is good cake!!
We also went for a what seemed like a very long walk to a VUE cinema to watch Hercules. We got a little not lost but got confused on the way and only just made it on time! But thankfully Rohan is good with working out directions... unlike me! Hercules film...was ok thats all I have to say.

Anyway seems this post is getting super long I shall leave you with another picture of Chihiro and hope you enjoyed the post!

Taylor by Taylor Swift - Perfume Review

Hi guys, So I hope to have the Hyper Japan posts up by the end of this week but figuring out how I am going to do them. So today I thought would bring you another review of a perfume I bought around a month ago.
I wear Flora by Gucci most of the time, which my lovely boyfriend bought me a couple of Christmas's ago and I REALLY fell in love with it. It the most ME scent I have ever had. But as this is an expensive perfume I don't like to wear it daily for things like work... as well wasting it on those grumpy customers! So I use a cheap perfume on work days etc... and normally go for an Avon perfume.. or some sort of celebrity ones as they are cheap and smell good!
Anyway I am sooo rambling sorry! I popped past my local Superdrug and spotted the Taylor perfume on offer 100ml was just £14.99. My local Superdrug has a perfume shop inside it and to my suprise while I was buying this the lady informed me I had £5 on my points card to spend so I paid around a tenner for an 100ml bottle!
This is where I admit, I didn't actually smell the perfume before I bought it, I am a massive fan of Taylor Swifts Enchanted I was super convince I would love this too, also have hear FleurDeForce mention it a few times and her favourite scents are ones I love to!

Can we just start off with saying how lovely the bottle is, I really enjoyed taking pictures of it, specially on such a sunny day!
Now I am no expert on describing scents... and it actually is really hard too. So I had a quick look into what notes this perfume contains for you to hopefully give you an idea of what it smells like! But I would describe it as a girly musk scent, its sweet but has a musky smell to it in my opinion.

Its main notes are ...
Peony, Hydrangea, Vanilla and Orchid

Other notes include ..
Sandlewood, Apricot Nectar, Cashmere musk and lychee.

From what people are saying its described as a Fruity but Oriental smell. I quite agree with this!

It has a really good lasting power and great for an everyday use without feeling guilty about spraying it. If you like your fruity scents but want something a bit different then certainly check this out! I hope you enjoyed this review, do any of you guys have any of the Taylor perfumes, if so which is your favourite ?
